ギガバイト「i-RAM」ファーストインプレッション（PC Watch）
DDRメモリを搭載したPCIカード（PCIスロットからは電源供給のみ）をシリアルATAで接続することにより、普通のHDD用に扱えるという「i-RAM」。いわゆるRAMディスク。
読み込み133MB/s、書き込み123MB/sと非常に高い性能を発揮してる模様（シリアルATAの理論上の最大転送速度は150MB/sec）
DIMMスロット×4で最大8Gまで搭載可、PCの電源切ってもスタンバイから電力供給でデータ保持、完全に切れてもバッテリーで幾分持つ、またPCIカードは大きいので注意。
